Police are investigating the death of a baby in Auckland.

Detective Inspector Warrick Adkin from Counties Manukau Police said officers were called to a property on Sandbrook Avenue in Ōtara soon after 10am this morning.
Officers are guarding the property and a scene examination will take place at the address.
Police said they were speaking with a man as part of their enquiries.
