Police say a person has suffered serious injuries in a crash between a car and a milk-tanker south of Christchurch.
The crash happened at the intersection of Main South Road and Parkins Road in Dunsandel near the Synlait Milk facility shortly after 12.30pm.
The road is closed and traffic is being diverted.
