Three people are seriously injured after a police pursuit in West Auckland this morning.

Police say they tried to stop a speeding vehicle on Titirangi Road at about 2.30am, but it fled.
They said a short pursuit was initiated which lasted a matter of seconds before the vehicle crashed into a parked car on Atkinson Road.
An 18 year old, a 19 year old and a 25 year old were in the fleeing vehicle when it crashed and have sustained serious injuries, police said.
They are now in Auckland Hospital.
A fourth person, aged 17, received minor injuries and is in North Shore Hospital.
The incident is being investigated and has been referred to the Independent Police Conduct Authority.
The Serious Crash Unit is at the scene and the road is closed but is expected to be re-opened shortly.
