A person has died following a single car crash in Marlborough this evening.
The police were called to State Highway 1 at Riverlands just after 6pm.
The sole occupant died at the scene.
The road remains closed while the police examine the scene.
Meanwhile, three cars have been involved in a serious crash in Auckland.
The police were called to the crash on Beach Road in Pahurehure just after 9pm.
Initial reports say one person has been seriously injured.
The road is closed and diversions are in place.
