Two unregistered Auckland electricians have been fined more than $6000 for unauthorised work.

Naveen Kumaran and Duncan Bennett appeared in the North Shore District Court this week in separate hearings.
Both pleaded guilty to charges laid under the Electricity Act, of doing unauthorised electrical work and claiming to be registered electricians.
Bennett also pleaded guilty to working in a manner dangerous to life, when installing a spa bath and relocating power points.
