A woman found dead alongside her newborn baby in an Auckland home on Monday had six other children.

Emerald Waiari Tai, 27, and her three-day-old child Tanatui Samuels were found dead by ambulance staff at the Kelston property about 9.30am on Monday.
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances, calling the deaths an absolute tragedy, but details are few.
On a Givealittle page set to raise funds for Tai's family, her mother said that she had six other children.
The case has been referred to the coroner.
