Two people have suffered minor injuries escaping a burning house in Porirua.

A Fire and Emergency spokesperson said emergency services received several calls about the blaze just before 4am.
Everyone managed to get out of the building but two were injured.
Paramedics treated the pair at the scene, at Maher Place, Ranui, and referred them to their GPs. Fire and Emergency initially said the pair had been taken to hospital.
Four fire crews fought the blaze.
