One person has been critically injured after a three-car crash in Queenstown this morning.

The serious crash at the intersection of Frankton Rd and Middleton Rd on State Highway 6A was reported to the police about 7.24am.
A second person received minor injuries.
SH6A, which connects the resort town to its airport, was closed for several hours due to the incident and reopened around midday with temporary traffic management in place.
