Police have arrested a man over a crash near Rangiora last month which killed a six-year-old boy.

The crash on Lehmans Road in Fernside on 5 November killed Lachland Gebhardt.
Police today said the arrested man, aged 30, was related to Lachlan, and was due to appear in Christchurch District Court today charged with Dangerous Driving causing Death.
