Charges laid against a man following the death of a woman in Hamilton at the weekend may change now a homicide inquiry has been launched.

Crystal-Lee Selwyn, 38, was assaulted at a property in the suburb of Maeroa on Saturday evening.
She was taken to hospital, but later died.
A 36-year-old man appeared in the Hamilton District Court yesterday charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He was remanded in custody to reappear on Monday.
Police said the charges would be reviewed before that appearance.
