One person has died in a crash between a truck and a car east of Queenstown last night.
The crash happened around 8.45pm on the Gibbston Valley Highway, near the Kawarau Bridge about 20 minutes from Queenstown.
The police's Serious Crash Unit and the Commercial Vehicle Safety Team attended the accident.
