Police has named the person who died in a workplace accident in South Auckland on Monday.

He was 16-year-old Shaldin Joyce from Auckland.
Police were called to a commercial property on Savill Drive in the suburb of Ōtāhuhu at 1.37pm, and the teenager died at the scene.
Worksafe said it understood the incident involved a forklift and they were investigating the matter.
A spokeserson from Coda, a logistics company, confirmed the incident happened on their ground and Mr Joyce was a contractor.
