Detective Inspector Paul Newman said the haul was part of a joint investigation between the National Organised Crime Group and Western Australian Police

Firearms, vehicles and $100,000 cash have also been seized in the raids in Waikato and Bay of Plenty.

Three men have been arrested - two New Zealanders and an Australian - and are facing charges including possessing methamphetamine for supply, he said.

The amount of meth seized would be about four months worth of supply in the New Zealand market, he said.

Since July, the police had seized more than a tonne of methamphetamine, he said.
