Two women accused of involvement in a group which allegedly supplied drugs to inmates in Rimutaka Prison have appeared in court.
Amanda Meynell, a prostitute in her 30s, and Jacqueline Smith, 36, who is unemployed, are both facing a raft of drugs charges including conspiracy to supply cannabis and selling cannabis.
They were remanded on bail to reappear in court in July.
Three men facing similar charges are due to appear in court later on Wednesday.
