Police say concerns are growing for an intellectually disabled woman who is missing.
Shoshone Anne-Marie Love, 18, is thought to have her Avondale home early Friday morning, a day after arriving in Auckland with her caregiver.
Senior Sergeant Scott Leonard says it is strange that she has stayed away for so long without her shoes, her cellphone or any money.
Mr Leonard says Ms Love has the intellectual age of a seven-year-old, and may be taken advantage of if she falls in with the wrong crowd.
But he says Ms Love may be with new friends somewhere, unaware that people are looking for her.
