The 63-year-old man charged with the murder of a woman in west Auckland yesterday has appeared in court.
He has been remanded in custody until his next appearance in the High Court in two weeks' time.
Police still want to hear from anyone who knows anything about what happened.
They are also appealing for dash-cam footage from people who were driving in the Westgate Drive and Royal Road area between 7.30am and just before 9am yesterday.
