Six generations of the Going family, including former All Black Sid Going, are celebrating 150 years since they first arrived in New Zealand.
About 500 people, including descendants of John Going who arrived from England in 1859, have been holding a reunion at Waitangi.
On Friday, Mary Going, the oldest living member of the family at age 101, cut a celebratory cake with the youngest family member who is aged eight weeks.
Former All Black Sid Going says there were 11 cakes at the celebration symbolising the number of children John Going had.
