Catering staff at the Ohakea air base are threatening further strike action over a pay claim.
About 24 union members at the base near Palmerston North stopped work for two days at the beginning of the month when contract negotiations with their employer, Compass Group, broke down.
The Service & Food Workers Union says the members have rejected an offer by Compass and want an improved offer.
It says they are not ruling out further industrial action.
