A woman has died in a crash in north Auckland, and two other people have been taken to hospital.

The crash involved two vehicles on Grand Drive.
Police and emergency services were called to the scene about 10.18am.

Cordons were put place on Grand Drive after the crash and were expected to stay in place for at least an hour. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
The Serious Crash Unit is at the scene.
