A pedestrian has sustained serious injuries after a collision with a bus in central Auckland.

The crash at the intersection of Victoria Street West and Queen Street was reported around 10.05pm, police said.
Emergency services are in attendance and the Serious Crash Unit will examine the scene.
The road is expected to be closed for some time.
Diversions are in place on Victoria Street West and Albert Street, and Queen Street and Durham Street.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
