Police are investigating attempted abductions of school children in Auckland on Thursday.
A 14-year-old Otara girl managed to escape after two men tried to coax her into their black hatchback car about 8am as she walked to Clover Park Middle School.
Police say a man in a white vehicle attempted to grab an 11-year-old girl as she walked to school on Fordham Street in Beach Haven on the North Shore on Thursday morning.
The girl struggled free and raised the alarm.
