State Highway 1 has reopened at Pukerua Bay, north of Wellington, after a truck rolled blocking the highway.

A truck and trailer rolled at Pukerua Bay about 6.50am, blocking the southbound lane of SH1 and part of the northbound lane.
The highway was closed for several hours between Plimmerton and Paekakariki and traffic is being diverted over Paekakariki Hill Road.
