Police have made an arrest after a serious assault in West Auckland yesterday morning.

A man remains in a serious condition after he was assaulted on St Leonards Road in the suburb of Kelston early yesterday morning.
A 20-year-old man was arrested and charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and will appear in Waitākere District Court today.
