A person is in critical condition after being hit by a car in Christchurch early this morning.
Police were called to the intersection of Bealey Avenue and Papanui Road just after 1.30am.
The person is in Christchurch Hospital.
The Serious Crash Unit has examined the scene and inquiries are ongoing.
