A 46-year-old man has been charged in relation to a fatal crash in which three men died near Whakatane.

The crash involved four separate vehicles on State Highway 2 at Pikowai on 26 February.
The three people who died were employed by Fletcher Building.
The man will appear at Whakatane District Court on 26 March.
