A ram raid has been carried out on a jewellery store on Auckland's North Shore.

Police said the store on Lake Road was robbed about 5am today.
Two vehicles were believed to have been involved in the raid, with one of them backed into the front doors of the shop.
Police said it was not yet clear what had been taken, but anyone who saw a white Nissan Tida or a silver four-door sedan in the area early this morning should contact them.
