Police will not say whether a speeding police officer was disciplined after driving at nearly two-and-a-half times the limit and seriously injuring a person.

The officer was not convicted and remains a sworn police officer.
Police have confirmed that the officer crashed into a vehicle early last year in the South Auckland suburb of Ōtāhuhu when he was responding to another incident.
The person in the other car sustained multiple injuries, including fractured vertebrae and was taken hospital, according to police.
"This was an unfortunate and regrettable incident and as part of the restorative justice process, the officer involved has met with the victim to apologise for this incident and accept blame," inspector Jared Pirret, the acting area commander for Counties Manukau West, said.
He said an employment investigation was undertaken where the officer's actions were reviewed but would not disclose the outcome for privacy reasons.
"Police, like any employer, has privacy obligations to consider and we do not disclose the outcome of employment investigations," Mr Pirret said.
He also said the communication and dealings between police and the victim were "a private matter and police will not be commenting further".
A report from the Independent Police Conduct Authority said the officer was at one point driving at 119km/h in a 50km/h zone.
It said the officer was charged with dangerous driving causing injury but a court discharged him without conviction.
