Three helicopters are fighting a scrub fire that's burning in steep terrain near Mangakino in Waikato.
Fire and Emergency said the blaze now covers 2.5ha, but it has been contained.
Two bulldozers are also on the scene.
Meanwhile, a scrub fire near Kaingaroa, is now out.
Two helicopters had to be called in to get the fire under control.
One property was evacuated as a precaution.
Fire fighters are still at the scene dampening down hot spots.
The blaze is being treated as suspicious.
