Firefighters have been battling a church fire in Porirua, north of Wellington.

Fire and Emergency received multiple calls that Titahi Bay Baptist Church was on fire just after midnight.
There are no reports of people inside the church.
It took 20 firefighters about three hours to get the blaze under control.
Police and a fire investigator were investigating.
