New Zealand Cricket has been made aware of counterfeit tickets being sold on the controversial online reseller, Viagogo.

Fake tickets are being sold at inflated prices with incorrect entry information and altered designs.

It follows similar ticket scamming issues at other events, including All Blacks Tests, the ASB Tennis Classic and music concerts.

New Zealand Cricket is warning tickets should only be purchased through Ticketek - on its website, mobile app, call centres or at its in-venue kiosks.
