Search teams are continuing to look for a teenager who went missing on Saturday while he was swimming at a treacherous west Auckland beach.

The 16-year-old was in the water at Whatipu Beach with two others when they got into trouble.
Two women made it back to shore, but the police, Coastguard and search and rescue volunteers are still looking for the boy.
There will be air and shoreline searches throughout the day.
