A woman is due to face two charges in the Christchurch District Court over the death of Shane Heappey.
The woman is the fourth person to be arrested and charged in relation to the death of Mr Heappey.
The police say the woman, 26, has now been charged with being an accessory after the fact of murder and being party to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
She is due to appear in the Christchurch District Court today.
Mr Heappey, who was 25 years old, died in Christchurch Hospital on 8 December after being dropped off at the hospital with serious injuries.
A 29-year-old man and a 31-year-old man have been charged with Mr Heappey's murder while a man, 50, has appeared in court accused of stabbing Mr Heappey with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
