An 18-year-old man is fighting for his life after falling off the back of a moving ute in the Tauranga suburb of Welcome Bay last night.
The Bay of Plenty District Health Board said he was transferred early this morning to Waikato Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
Police are speaking to the driver of the ute.
