Police have named the 50-year-old woman who died following a shooting at an Ōtorohanga property last night.

She was Leigh Kauhoe Wallace.
A 57-year-old man who was taken to Waikato Hospital in a critical condition is now stable.
A homicide investigation has been launched, but the police aren't looking for anyone else in relation to the shooting.
A scene examination is continuing.
