A woman has been killed and a man is in a critical condition after a shooting in Waikato tonight.
The police said the incident happened at a rural address on Otewa Road in Otorohanga just before 8pm.
A 50-year-old woman died at the scene and a 57-year-old man has been taken to Waikato Hospital.
The police said they were not seeking anyone else in relation to the shootings.
A firearm has been recovered and a guard will be in place overnight.
