Wellington commuters are facing significant delays after a crash blocked a lane on State Highway 1 in Porirua.

A vehicle blocked the right lane heading south from the Porirua interchange.
The scene has now been cleared and all lanes are opened, but the Transport Agency is still warning drivers to expect significant delays.
Traffic is backed up to the Paremata roundabout.
The crash happened at 6.50am.
