Five young people will appear in court tomorrow after attempting to rob a dairy in Waikato after stealing a car.
The five allegedly stole a car outside a house yesterday morning and drove to a dairy in Morrinsville.
The police said four of them entered the store, one armed with a knife, but fled without taking anything.
They then filled up the car at a petrol station and left without paying.
The car later fled police officers, eventually coming to a stop on the Waikato Expressway.
The five teenagers are due to appear in the Hamilton Youth Court tomorrow.
