Police have attended Taranaki Base Hospital after reports of gunshots tonight.

Senior Sergeant Jeff Veale said one man had a leg injury after an argument with a group of men in the hospital carpark at about 9.30pm.
He is being treated at the hospital. Police believed the other men had left the scene.
Police believed the parties knew each other, Mr Veale said
The hospital is operating as normal.
