Sheryl Lee, Kimmy Robertson, Michael Horse, Al Strobel and Dana Ashbrook - as well as produce Sabrina S. Sutherland - will speak at events in Auckland and Christchurch next month.

The American drama series was created by David Lynch and Mark Frost in the early 1990s and returned to television screens for a critically-acclaimed third season last year.

All five actors appeared in both the original series and the revived episodes.

Lee appeared as Laura Palmer, whose death sparked the events of the series, while Robertson played Lucy Moran, Horse played Deputy Hawk, Strobel appeared as Phillip Gerard and Ashbrook was Bobby Briggs.

Sutherland served as a production coordinator on the original programme and was an executive producer for the 2017 series, while also producing the David Lynch: The Art Life documentary.

The Auckland event will be held on 22 August at the ASB Theatre, with the Christchurch talk at the Isaac Theatre taking place the next day. Tickets go on sale this Friday.
