Police are appealing for information after two young girls were approached by a man in Christchurch this week.
The first incident occurred at Tosswill Road in Prebbleton on Monday, while the second happened at Greenhurst Street in Sockburn yesterday.
A police spokesperson confirmed both "suspicious approaches" involved a man in a black sedan.
The vehicle is described as four-door, possibly with a sliding door, with rust at the rear.
Police said they would like to hear from anyone in those areas at those times.
The spokesperson said parents should talk to their children about behaviours and actions that may make them feel uncomfortable.
