The Silver Ferns have opened their international netball season with a 92-28 victory over Samoa in Porirua.
With their top line-up starting the match the home side took control straight away, jumping out to a 24-7 lead at quarter-time; by half-time they were 31 ahead.
Coach Ruth Aitken made five changes at half-time and then cleared her bench at threequarter-time.
Goal attack Grace Rasmussen shot 94% on debut for New Zealand , while the team as a whole shot 91%.
The Ferns' next match is against Jamaica in Christchurch in 10 days' time.
