Convoys along State Highway 11 to Bay of Islands will begin again today after a slip closed the road at Lemons Hill in mid-February.

The Transport Agency had allowed vehicles through twice a day in between repair work.
Those convoys were cancelled last Friday after torrential rain.
However, work crews have again stabilised the slip and, weather permitting, convoys from today will again go through from 7.30am and 8.30am, and from 4.30pm and 6pm.
The agency said it would open the road specially on Saturday to allow drivers taking part the International Rally of Whangarei to travel to their next stage.
