A man has been rescued from the Kaimanawa Ranges after being shot.
Police said the man was flown to Waikato Hospital in a helicopter this afternoon after an emergency beacon was activated.
They were speaking to another man who was with the shooting victim, but they were not yet sure of how the shooting happened.
