Police are still actively searching for a man who went missing near Waikato River on Friday night.

The 36-year-old ran off while police were investigating the serious assault of a 26-year-old woman.
He was tracked to the edge of the river, and was seen in it an hour later, but disappeared before the police could reach him.
The Dive Squad searched the river over the weekend and will begin again this morning.
