Police have confirmed the body found on the banks of the Ashley River on the weekend is that of missing woman Emma Beattie.

Ms Beattie's body was found during a search and rescue training operation on Saturday.
It was found in the same area that was scoured during the search for Ms Beattie after the 20-year-old went missing in December.
Ms Beattie was last seen at her home in Fernside, Waimakariri, in early December, but an intensive search of the Ashley River area at the time failed to find any trace of her.
Police said Ms Beattie's family had been informed and they had asked for privacy.
The death has been referred to the Coroner.
