Police have arrested 20 men and five women after a six-month-long investigation.
The arrested people will be facing a number of charges, including supplying methamphetamine and cannabis.
More than 300 police staff, including the Armed Offenders Squad, were involved in the operation or the raids on 43 properties in Kawerau, Whakatane and Opotiki.
Methamphetamine, guns, cannabis and cash were found at several of the places and police have also seized assets including boats, jet-skis and motorbikes.
Police said the operation was launched in October 2017 after the members of the local community contacted police with concerns about organised crime operating in the area.
"This gang has been preying on our community and have been profiting from their own whānau and friends' addiction through the distribution and supply of these drugs," said Inspector Kevin Taylor.
"They have shown that they put profit above all else and have a complete disregard for how destructive methamphetamine is to the health and wellbeing of users."
