A person has died following a crash between a car and a tractor at Horsham Downs, north of Hamilton.
Police said the car clipped the tractor and flipped into a ditch.
Two people managed to get out but a third person, who was trapped in the car, died at the scene.
And, a 43-year-old motorcyclist involved in a serious crash in Sockburn in Christchurch last night has died, police said.
