The police are investigating the suspicious death of a woman at a Hamilton house.
Officers were alerted to the death on Dominion Road in the suburb of Nawton around 1.45pm.
Detective Sergeant Andrew Saunders said police were at the house and were speaking with witnesses.
A cordon is in place and officers will continue a scene examination tomorrow.
