There was also congestion on State Highway 1 heading south, between Manukau and Papakura.
The Vector light show on the harbour bridge might also cause some delays later tonight.
We would like to advise road users that Saturday 27th January, centre lanes of #AklHarbourBridge will be CLOSED in BOTH directions from 8:55pm - 9:30pm for the Vector Lights Launch Show.

In the Bay of Plenty, long delays are expected because of a crash on State Highway 2 north of Katikati that closed the road this morning.
