Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has sent out her Christmas well-wishes to New Zealanders, thanking those are slogging away at work over the holiday break.
Speaking to RNZ's Wallace Chapman, Ms Ardern wished everyone a safe and happy Christmas.
"To everyone who's working on this day, thank you. Whatever your chosen field of work is thank you for continuing to keep the wheels turning," she said.
Ms Ardern also spoke of what Christmas would be like for her and her family.
